What it actually does
Entrance, parking, handover
A stop is three questions: where do I stop, how do I get in, who takes the parcel. Rydealog groups tips that way — delivery entrance, loading bay, parking, concierge, reception, mailroom. Public maps, research, and drivers who have done that drop.
Where to park — plus a timer
Tips may point at a loading bay or a car-park entrance. They do not override a sign or a warden. Set the parking timer when you stop; you get a nudge before it runs out. Check the plate yourself.
Your codes stay on the phone
Gate codes and access notes live in Private Vault on your device. They are not uploaded as community tips. Sharing a tip is blocked if it looks like a code. Independent — your courier company does not see this.
During the round, not the night before
Delivery tips only open while a shift is active. Look the stop up when you are on it. If the area is thin, add a precise public tip (no codes) so it is there for you next time.
How it works
- Start a shift. Tips are locked until you do, and they are Pro.
- Look up the stop. Address or venue. The app searches nearby public and community tips for parking, entrance and handover.
- Keep a private note if you need one. Codes go in Private Vault on the phone. Community tips stay public facts only.
What’s free vs Pro
- Free — £0. Plan shifts, shift history. The parking timer on Home does not require Pro.
- Monthly — £6.99. Cancel whenever you like.
- Yearly — £59.99. Works out at £5 a month. Saves you £23.89.
Booking shifts and your shift history are free. Pro unlocks earnings and costs, delivery tips, van checks, smart map scanning, shift mileage and delivery photos. No 7-day trial yet.
Honest limitations
- Coverage is uneven. A new round or a quiet town can come back thin. Add the stop; do not expect a full map of the UK on day one.
- Information can be incomplete or outdated. Follow signs, barriers and on-site staff.
- Tips need an active shift and Pro. Smart map scanning is the Pro lookup, not a background crawl of every address you pass.
- The parking timer will not prevent a ticket. Yellow lines and loading bays are still the parking rules.
- iPhone only for now.
FAQs
Will every stop have an entrance and a place to park?
No. Tips come from public maps, research and other drivers. Some stops will be thin or wrong. Always follow signs and on-site instructions. You can add a stop so it is there for you tomorrow.
Do I have to be on a shift to look up a stop?
Yes. Delivery tips open only during an active shift, and they are a Pro feature. That keeps lookup tied to the round you are actually running.
Are gate codes shared with other drivers?
No. Private access notes and gate codes stay on your phone in Private Vault. Community tips are blocked from including codes. Rydealog is independent and not linked to any courier company.
Will the parking timer stop a ticket?
No. Set a timer when you park and you get a nudge before it runs out. Always check the signs. The alert is not a defence, and it does not change loading-bay or yellow-line rules.
