01

Agreement and operator

Rydealog is operated by EMWOTIVA LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16490035, based in London, UK.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Rydealog mobile app, rydealog.com and related services. By creating an account, selecting acceptance during registration, using Rydealog or purchasing Rydealog Pro, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Our Privacy Notice explains how we use personal information. It forms part of the information provided to you but is not itself a contract term.

02

Your account

Rydealog is intended for delivery professionals who are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You must provide accurate information, keep sign-in credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Your account is personal to you. Do not sell, transfer or share it, and do not attempt to access another driver’s records. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care.

Some basic features can be explored without a paid subscription. Features that store or synchronise personal records require a signed-in account. Paid modules require an active Rydealog Pro entitlement.

03

Safe and lawful use

Do not interact with Rydealog while driving. Stop safely and lawfully before reading tips, starting timers, taking photographs, entering information or operating any other control.

You remain responsible for driving safely, complying with road traffic, parking, working-time, employment and delivery rules, checking signs and restrictions, protecting parcels and following instructions from your employer, client, insurer and authorities.

Location, parking, weather, routing, concierge, loading-bay and community information may be incomplete, approximate, unavailable or outdated. It is assistance, not an instruction to stop, park, enter land or take any action. On-site signs, the law and your reasonable professional judgement always take priority.

You must not use Rydealog to:

  • break the law, facilitate trespass, evade restrictions or endanger any person;
  • harass, impersonate or mislead another person;
  • upload malware, probe security, scrape the service or interfere with another user;
  • reverse engineer or copy the service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
  • use automated systems to create accounts, submit votes or manipulate community trust.

04

Driver tools and estimates

Rydealog helps organise shifts, booked work, mileage, parking time, earnings, expenses, reminders, delivery information and other records. You decide what to record and remain responsible for checking completeness and accuracy before relying on or exporting it.

Mileage, worked time, pay, expenses, taxable profit and other calculations depend on your settings, permissions and entries. They are estimates for organisation only and are not tax, accounting, employment or legal advice. Rydealog does not determine employment status, legal driving hours, tax liability or what an employer or authority will accept. Obtain professional advice where needed.

Timers and reminders depend on device settings, battery state, permissions, network availability and operating-system scheduling. Do not rely on a notification as the only way to meet a deadline, avoid a parking charge or attend work.

05

Community contributions

Signed-in drivers may submit and review delivery tips. Contributions must be concise, first-hand or supported by a reliable public source, relevant to delivery work and safe for other drivers to follow.

Never publish:

  • gate codes, access PINs, keys, alarm details or other security credentials;
  • names, telephone numbers, parcel details, photographs of people or other personal information;
  • instructions to park unlawfully, enter without permission, tailgate, bypass security or create a hazard;
  • false, promotional, abusive, discriminatory or infringing material; or
  • content you do not have the right to share.

Community votes can mark a tip still correct, wrong, outdated, unsafe or containing private information. We may automatically or manually approve, edit the status of, hide or delete contributions, but we do not guarantee pre-publication review or continued availability. Report unsafe or private information through the feedback controls.

06

Evidence photographs

Rydealog can organise van-check and proof-of-delivery photographs with timestamps, optional location and watermark metadata. You must have authority to capture, retain and use each image, respect site rules and avoid including faces, home interiors, identity documents, parcel labels or other unnecessary personal information.

Metadata and watermarks record information available to the device; they do not certify authenticity, legal admissibility or acceptance by an employer, insurer, customer, court or regulator. Keep any separate records your contract or the law requires.

07

Rydealog Pro subscriptions

The price, billing period, included trial (if any) and renewal terms shown in the purchase screen immediately before you confirm are the terms for your Rydealog Pro subscription. Prices can vary by country, currency, platform and applicable tax.

Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not directly by EMWOTIVA LTD. Unless the purchase screen states otherwise, a subscription renews automatically for the displayed period until cancelled through the relevant store account settings. Deleting Rydealog or deleting your Rydealog account does not itself cancel store billing.

Cancellation stops future renewal but normally leaves access active until the paid period ends. Refund requests are handled under the store’s rules and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory cooling-off, refund or other statutory rights. Use Restore Purchases when available to recover an entitlement associated with the same store account.

We may change future subscription prices or feature packaging. Any price change applies only as permitted by the store and law, with the notice or consent required by the relevant platform.

08

Rights and licences

Rydealog’s software, design, name, logo and original content belong to EMWOTIVA LTD or its licensors. While you comply with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on supported devices for your own delivery-work organisation.

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format and display it only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, moderate and improve Rydealog. For community tips, that licence includes sharing the contribution with other drivers. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backups, legal obligations or material already lawfully relied upon before deletion.

Public maps, weather, council information and other third-party material remain subject to their respective rights, licences and attribution requirements.

09

Availability, changes and termination

We aim to keep Rydealog reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features can be limited by maintenance, connectivity, platform changes, provider outages, lawful requests or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may improve, replace or withdraw features where reasonably necessary. If a change materially reduces a paid service during a current billing period, we will act consistently with consumer law and the relevant store requirements.

You can stop using Rydealog at any time and can permanently delete your account in Settings. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law or address a serious breach. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us.

10

Responsibility and liability

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, was caused by inaccurate information you supplied, resulted from ignoring road signs or safety duties, or arose from a third-party service outside our reasonable control.

If you use Rydealog mainly for your trade or business, we are not responsible for indirect loss of profit, business, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings where the law allows that exclusion. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of your statutory rights, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms makes Rydealog your employer, delivery principal, insurer, accountant, tax adviser or legal representative.

11

General terms and contact

We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational or product reasons. We will publish the revised date and give appropriate notice where a change materially affects existing users. Continuing to use Rydealog after the effective date means the updated Terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel any future subscription renewal.

If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. You may not transfer your agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a genuine reorganisation or business transfer provided this does not reduce your rights.

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live and retain the mandatory protections of your home jurisdiction.
